Zambian Rapper Mr. Faga Arrested for Drug Possession and Firearms in Cape Town

A prominent Zambian entrepreneur and rapper, Patrick Chansa, who goes by the stage name “Mr Faga,” has recently found himself in hot water after being arrested for drug possession and possession of multiple firearms in Cape Town, South Africa.

Sources suggest that Mr. Faga was caught during an impromptu police check while driving to his associate’s office on Bree Street in Cape Town’s Central Business District. During the search, authorities allegedly uncovered undisclosed narcotics and psychotropic substances, along with a disturbingly large collection of firearms that are believed to have been illegally obtained.

Interestingly, despite the gravity of the situation, Mr. Faga appeared to be unfazed and even seemed to be enjoying himself, flashing a grin as police took him into custody. This begs the question: was he high on his own supply, or is he simply not taking the charges against him seriously?

Regardless of the answer, Mr. Faga’s arrest has certainly caused a stir among his followers on Instagram, where he has amassed a significant following with his ostentatious displays of wealth and “luxurious lifestyle” posts. His music career has also been affected, as he is known for songs like “Macky 2,” which he claims was inspired by his idol, and “Aikona,” featuring Chef 187.

As the investigation into his arrest continues, there are still many questions left unanswered. What led to Mr. Faga’s arrest? Will he face jail time? How will his arrest impact his business and music careers? Only time will tell.
